Anaglyph Maker F4U Corsair Scene
Chance Vought F4U Corsair's In Flight over Seaside Airfield... This Scene was created using the Corsair F4U 3D Max2.5 Model in a Max3 Environment to place the scene components and set up lighting and Blur of the propellers. The Scene was Final Rendered in Max7 to get a higher Motion Blur setting for the Propellers. The Pilots are opacity mapped JPG Images on a flat plane, angled to get the least reflection of the lighting while still illuminating the Pilots image. "Pilot = My Dad, Bob" in Uniform after retirement. Backdrop is a Still Shot Backdrop placed on a plane, angled to camera to minimise reflections, Shadow casting/receiving turned off.

The Pilots are Low poly Human Figures Dressed appropriately for training pilots. Backdrop is a Still Shot Backdrop placed on a plane, angled to camera to minimise reflections, Shadow casting/receiving turned off. This Backdrop is in fact 2 Images - rendered in Terragen 8.44 with a left and right eye perspective (Interocular separation of around 60mm) Each backdrop is rendered separately with the Flying Skyhawks in front, Left then Right, then combined in Anaglyph Maker to create the Poster size (48x30 Inch) Final render.
